I love a good shoot and Till death do us party was no exception. Did someone say party?
The concept for this shoot came from the fabulous Charlotte of Fine and Dandy events and prop hire. With the most amazing eye for detail, from light up letters to a shot wall. This shoot has it all!
LOCATION
Our location for Till death do us party is Haarlem Mill in the Peak district. A grade 2 listed, industrial style venue. There is everything to love. Perfect for a party and a wedding.
DRESSES AND SUITS
When one dress isn’t enough. Especially when they’re designed by Essence of Australia. One for daytime and one for night time. Why not! I’m totally in love with them both. You will find them at The Bridal suite in Nottingham.
The grooms suits are from Remus Uomo also in Nottingham. Simply gorgeous and they all work so well together.
BRIDE AND GROOM
Steve and Emily, our model’s are a real couple, so the chemistry was perfect. They are both totally gorgeous.
Emma from peach berry make up loves to create. Therefore she was in her element with two looks. A softer look for daytime and a slightly heavier one for the evening. Simply stunning!
I love to create too, so loved the idea of two completely different hair styles. Emily has fab hair and the fringe gives it that edgy vibe. And just look at those hairpieces, completely bespoke and utterly gorgeous. Carol from Love 2 Sparkle is the talent behind these handmade masterpieces. They compliment my hair styling perfectly.
For those finishing touches we had jewellery from Keishi. My favorite shop in the world. With so may pieces to choose from our options were endless. But hey, we had two looks so we had a change of jewels for our evening look too. We even had two bouquets from phoenixflowers . Call us greedy, but we could so we did!
THE CAKE
Lisa from The Ruddington cake company always gets it spot on. Loving the concrete elements and the pop of ultra violet on the cakes to go with our party theme. So clever! Have you ever tasted Lisa’s cakes? They are to die for!
