Meet Rosie

Bridal Hairstylist Nottingham

Hi I’m Rosie a professional and experienced bridal hairstylist. I’d love to be a part of your very special day!   My excitement and desire to help shape your day is ignited as soon as you contact me.

Bridal hairstylist experience

Experience includes working in top London salons including Toni & Guy’s Essensuals in Holborn and Oxford Circus. I have over 20 years experience in Hairdressing and bridal hair styling.

For ten years I worked at Nottingham’s influential Essensuals. Helping to launch the salon I embraced a number of career development opportunities. These opportunities include  creative director, technical director and Assistant Manager. I was trusted with the hugely important role of being the Co-coordinator Assessor and Trainer for developing students.   This role also took me to the Toni & Guy Manchester Academy to train students in preparation for their final practical exams. These include City and Guilds Level 2 &3 and  Toni and Guy final assessments.

Theatrical hair

In 2006 I was asked to become part of the hair team at Nottingham Playhouse. This was for a pre West End production. I loved this unique opportunity. During the show’s 2 week run I gained lots of valuable experience. It was crucial that my styling was not only spot on but would maintain it’s style throughout the show.

Moving on

Feeling inspired I left the salon  to set up my own hairdressing and bridal hairstylist business.  I have the pleasure of a good strong clientele who have been with me throughout my career. Many  have become close friends.

I became part-time  as an assessor/trainer for New College Nottingham’s Apprenticeship programme. Working in a training environment took me to many workshops, shows and exhibitions. I  co-ordinated several end of year shows enabling students to showcase their work. I have now left teaching to focus solely on my hairdressing and bridal hairstylist business.

It’s important to stay abreast of new developments and trends and be constantly challenged. I believe that we never stop learning. I continue to attend shows and workshops in order to stay up to date with all the latest trends.

I love to be creative and love weddings. I’m very lucky to have my perfect job and aim for the highest standards at all times, I’m definitely a perfectionist.

My friends, family and clients were asked how they would describe me. I was delighted to be described as friendly, professional, passionate and trustworthy!

Look forward to meeting you.
